encore is based on a fender, just not as good.. lol. fenders are worth their money. i'm getting a fender precision(sp?) bass. £349 i think. similar to Mark Hoppus's bass.

Why does everyone go for expensive Fenders?

I've got an Ibanez and got it for £150, and IMO it looks a lot better than any Fender and is like half the price.

i like the feel of a fender tho if u dont want the price of a fender get a squier fender bought them cos they do such good copies
