Visually, at first, it doesn't shout "Wales" to me. However, a great amount of thought has been put into this room, and it shows through the symbolism. I didn not understand the reasoning for some of the things in the room until you explained their symbolic meaning.
Very well thought out with deep meanings behind the furni you've chosen. Good luck in the competition. Nice bit of eye-candy. 9/10 (because nothing's perfect). ^_^
