Exactly! Where are the actual original bands like Mastodon? This poll should have been entitled 'Most Popular Current Band' or something. I mean, Metallica are still around, I don't see them in the poll. A7X are the only band I even come close to liking in all of those bands. I notice they've finished kissing the plural ***** of Bullet for my Valentine and found new flavours of the week. Seems like Lacuna Coil are gonna continue to be called 'the future of metal' now by every magazine, website, and TV channel until they just run out of fans. If this is the way music is going, with bands whose popularity only lasts a year at most, then music is heading right into a very deep pit from which there is no return.
