samsungs in my opinion are way to unreliable i prefer the Sony Erricson W850i because great for listening to music with,reliable,good battery time and great design

Probably not. Whenever you buy there's likely to be a new model 6 months down the line, and the two you mentioned are pretty new as it is.

Well, they're both great makes.
But its your choice. In my view it doesn't matter about the size (UNLESS ITS MASSIVE!) it's about what it can do.

crap signal means your with the wrong tarrif for your area as in orange,vodafone etc etc.
