Its the night before Halloween that has the bad reputation (Mischeif Night) that's when the Idiots come out and Scare OAPS, Break in their houses, Hit them, Rob them and Destroy their Furniture.

Bonfire night is also a Bad night aswell when Fireworks are put though OAPS letterboxes, OAPS are raped, OAPS are scared with the Bangs and people cant get to sleep with the constant banging, Fires are started everywere ion Trees and in alleys, Parks and the Fire brigade are called to put them out sometimes the calls are fake aswell.

Halloween is a single day out of the year where kids (and myself) can fufill their never-ending quest for candy. Thats it. Sorry Bishop, there is no deeper meaning, Halloween isnt the root of all evil in the world. It's the root of all cavities.

Its becuse its a pagan festival, so the church hate it... I mean, thats like saying Christmas is a pagan festival, and they would actualy do such a thing as rewrite the bible to put jesus's birth at that date, insted of a month of so later when it origanly happened.. Or that the exsact same thing was done with other celibrations such as easter...

Its lost all meaning though. No one actually celebrates it as a pagan festival anymore. Its about candy now. Delicious, delicious candy. Like in our American indipendence day on July 4th. It isnt much about America anymore, its about fireworks and an excuse for a BBQ. There are dozens of other american holidays, but nothing has anything explosive tied into it, so people dont care much for it.

    Exactly, Well put.

No one celebrates its true meaning now, And really.. I don't think not selling "scary masks" is going to stop someone from breaking into a OAP's house to be honest.
