I don't think it was called the Orb of Doom.. because there was the Habbotics quest, and the smoke machine was at the end of it, wasn't it. Wasn't the orb of doom mentioned by Dionysus in his Newsie posts in the weeks leading up to Halloween '05. Also, the orb of doom was in the Ressurect a Rare vote, which was after the smoke machine had been released.
