If football players were to get paid only $100 a week and they were worth more because of there skill other clubs would buy them for say $200. Then the original club would say "no we will buy him for $1000" and then it keeps going up

It does seem unfair, but at the end of the day that's just how it is. some people would argue that nurses and doctors work much harder than footballers yet get paid less. but tbh you get paid for what you do, not how hard you work. you can't really argue with that.

well if the doctors/nurses were with the NHS or w.e they can't be paid millions because the NHS is in multi-million pound debt anyway

This is debated time and time again. Footballers get paid more because the sport of Football makes a lot of money through ticket sales and sponsors. Emergency services don't get that but they get money from the government, and Football has nothing to do with the government. If you want the emergency services to be paid more I suggest you contact the government. Not all footballers get paid, only the Premierhip players get paid thousands. People in lower divisons such as the CHampionship can get as little pay as £300 a week. So it's not all good.

Ive been asking this alot recently aswell, ever since I went to see a game a couple of weeks ago. They kick a ball around for 90 minutes, 2 training sessions a week. I mean i do that for my village team, and i dont get payed £100,000 a week. But think of how many player dont make that amount of money, only the top premiership teams get huge amounts of money. But so little people get into those teams. But i do agree, they get payed alot mor and it should be cut down and given to another cause, such as charity or something on the lines of that.......

I do agree they are well overpaid but when anyone says this I always think there career is alot shorter then the majority of any other professions seeing as they're forced to retire by 30-35 (Older and younger for some) it also includes alot of travelling and not much time with your family. So much money is spent on football by various people therefor the board & manager have enough to pay that player ridiculous wages.
I think nurses should get a pay rise but then again the NHS would crumble if they had to spend any more money.

I agree with Immenseman, The NHS would crumble if they upped the wages of nurses/docters. But if those football teams wages went down a little, maybe there would be more money for people who ned it most. Or they could conate some to charity each week
