why should staff be treated better than normal members?

Actually as Rule A5 states, we are extra strict when a staff member is abused. The reason is that we also expect more from our staff. We expect our staff to stay friendly and polite at all times, no matter if other people are rude towards them! Unlike normal members who sometimes can reply in a less friendly or polite way to somebody who is also not friendly to them. Because we expect more from our staff, we are also stricter with abuse towards them.

I think you can compare this with other situations, like when you walk on the street and you call your friend an idiot, even if a police officer hears you he won't mind, but if you say the same thing to the police officer you get in trouble. On the other hand the police officer is expected to always stay friendly and polite himself (or at least not swear back).

A5. Do not post anything that can be considered as being rude or insulting towards people working for Habbox - We don't allow any form of abuse, but are extra sensitive when it comes to abuse towards Habbox Staff. THIS INCLUDES IN REPUTATION COMMENTS!

Staff and members are treated equally. Staff are probably treated even more harshly because if they break the rules, they can loose their job and even banned.

I am not sure why you were banned but if you think it was unfair, please use the contact us link to appeal against it.

the reason i called you a dip**** was because you lied about something and i said something like ''dont lie i was a mod at one time, dip****" that should only really be a infraction.... but xuzuno or w/e banned me for a week for it.

normally police just walk away....... and nothing would happen to you... but this is a forum and is getting far too strict for its own good.
