what i used to do on my old main is, go to betty's rune shop at port sarim on an empty world (not empty but you know...) buy out all the deaths until they get too expensive then go to varrock with about 1000 and sell them you can make about 50k+ every trip you do

Mine 1000 pure esscence, sell for 100k, buy 1k flax, spin to bow strings, sell 1k bow strings 200k, then buy 2k flax and repeat.It takes a along time but the crafting xp is uber.
