The price is reasonable for what it is, Sony lose alot of money selling each console as it is already.
Of course it is immediately available, for that price, not many people would want one. Nintendo has stolen all the customers with the Wii and Microsoft have what's left with the Xbox 360.
Most deliveries from Game are free delivery when you spend alot, which goes back to the cost of the console.
