The current British anthem ios God Save the Queen. The Irish one, is Amhran bh fiAnna or something like that, translates into A Soldiers Song. We should change British anthem to the Austin Powers Theme Tune, I realized that when I saw the 1st Austin Powers Introduction!! The British Anthem lyrics are-
God Save Our Gracious Queen
Long Live Our Noble Queen,

God Save Our Queen is the royal anthem of every country in the commonwealth like Canada and Australia so it'd be hard to sing about like 7 different countries. I don't think national anthems are ever about the nation, like America's is about war. Originally Posted by ---MAD---
