Shading, detail, instead of just having one or two colours on the panel have maybe... Four. Add highlights to the top edges and shading to the lower edges. Maybe some more detail and colours could be added to that sign too but it is improving.
For the shadows of people sitting on the bench style seats, try a colour that is like that of the table tops. The yellow is a bit incorrect.

Try and expand rather than just doing a plain surface make it more interesting. You'll have amazing results if you can remember that golden rule.
