Kind of yea, i originally ment the actual navigation bar to be in line with the bottom of the banner though, without the gap at all, but that looks ok as well.
Otherwize it just seems like theres to much wasted space if you know what i mean?

Number one, but two is verygood, just boxes are a little to simple.
