They can off course but whether it affects the member or not depends on the person repping and the person recieving the -rep.
If you want to make the poll thats fine.
---MAD---
Agreed on the poll option.
I don't think a poll would be a good idea because I think allot of our members are bronze member and their obviously going to vote no.
I’d like to see MADs idea get put into place but, wouldn’t it effect the people who buy reputation if their not a bronze member?
Hmm ... yes because you started the thread, you would think that. Quite honestly I would be very surprised if there is a big demand for it. As I said I think it is a over reaction to the recent absences due to exams. It is completely up to date now as far as I know.
Changes in systems are not always better the quicker they are introduced and for short term problems that happen. These things need careful thought and why should it be introduced immediately?
absolutely nothing wrong with the current system. it's annoying that people who get -repped frequently (perhaps because they deserve it?) are like, omgz lets get rid of -rep.
if you stop doing whatever you doing to gain -rep, there won't be a problem.
i believe the "only silver members & above" thing is silly, because there are users who don't post alot & are good members of the forum and they deserve the right to be able to disagree with something that somebody has said.
Leave it. Just because people cry when they get -rep it doesnt mean you should change it. and on the silver member thing, if you'd just joined, and someone flamed you or w/e or you disagreed with someone, you'd want to be able to minus rep them. Put yourself in the situation.
I don't actually care, because I don't bother to report pointless rep unless it's like -5 or above.
Now being too hasty is never a good thingIts better to make sure that people are in agreement when you make a big change like this.
As far as this itself, I don't think it would make a difference. First of all, the silver members things would not affect VIPs, who don't have the star ranks. Secondly, taking it away from the newer members won't have any effect, as they barely -rep, and those that do, its like what, one point? It won't make a difference.
Additionally, I don't think that post counts should be the way to judge. If anything, it should be how long they have been here though I'm not sure its possible. Plenty of people have low amounts of posts and played a HUGEEE role in Habbox. I'll give you a prime example. Anitar, one of the original FMs who was here for ages and played a huge role in HabboxForum being successful has 366 posts. She would not be able to rep despite all she did for the forum.

Then you have to be a member for atleast a month? or 3 months?
Why on earth should we classify a certain population of people better than another population.
It's stupid.
