Everybody wanting to be an X will partly want the X badge, no denying it. There are a few who do it solely for a badge, others for it all (badge, and doing their job).

I hope only the ones wanting to to their job to get through - I know I'd do my job, I know alot about the criteria you need for a safety x.

I think, if people have applied for the badge and popularity then it's just plain silly, if you want popularity then garn it a decent way instead of applying for something to get a badge that will give you popularity

But, if people that actually want to help have applied, then good luck to them and i hope they get it.
