Everyone is as good as each other in different departments of designing and coding as not everyone uses the same style of designing.

You can't compare someone who codes in JS to someone who codes in CSS. Same with design.

That's complete trash.

If someone likes grunge layouts as opposed to clean, sleek layouts then he or she is obviously going to pick the grunge layout as the best.

It's all about personal preference.

To be a good designer, you have to show variety in all aspects of design.
