This has happened to me before but its nothing to do with msn, its to do with my anti-virus and everything that loads up when you first log in and because my msn logs in at the same time the other programms sort of loading up lags my msn today and all the other things and like you discribed just pop up and freeze msn. Its like a massivce serge of popups that slowed my msn down.

just as 088 said it is because usually everything you have installed automatically loads on startup this causes a period of lag and may damage some of your programs thos happened to me once and it cleaned my desktop lost everything all my music and stuff ike that

How many startup programs do you have?

Wait untill everything has loaded properlly (Try 5 mins) and then try logging in.

This might work because usually your computer is loading other things.

Hmm kk i think it may be that other things load up aswell coz i have norton anti virus n tht always loads when i first turn on PC, ill try waiting 5 mins

And jord yea i havent got the newest version of msn coz i prefer the older one where u can see who's online easier if it keeps happening i might try downloading new one even tho it sucks
