Drinking age 21?

It already is where I live, so don't feel too bad.

Anyway, when they make laws like this, usually they put a 'cut-off' date, so anyone who could already drink under 21 would still be able to -- Just not people after that date.

Thats exactly what I have been saying too my friends who are worried about it.

If they do not do that, I will be pretty annoyed as I have just turned 18 and no I don't drink much just at parties and I will not be able to get any if the put the age up. :eusa_wall

This has been dismissed, as an earlier post said. Also it would just increase drug problems, as people who are too young to get hold of drink go for drugs where (obviously) age doesn't matter whoever buys it.

I don't care really. Slight irritance, as I need to wait longer for a fake ID to pass for 21 than 18, but if I'm 'legally' buying drink I usually let my mum buy it from't shop.
