how is it not a 'REAL' job? if everyone in this world were accountants, lawyers, plumbers where would we get our food from? just because its a supermarket it doesnt mean its not a 'REAL' job.

I am pretty sure his mum, whether she is manager or not wouldn't be allowed to employ him, i'm certain there is a policy or something against it :S. I might be wrong but idk.

I'm finding it hard to believe that a THIRTEEN year old lad is working at Tesco's and is working them hours tbh.

I have also just found this on the internet as well.
If you are aged 13 years and over, but under school leaving age you may not be employed:
- before the end of school hours on any day you have to go to school
- for more than two hours on any day you have to go to school
- before 7.00am or after 7.00pm on any day
- for more than two hours on a Sunday
- in street trading.
