I waz on habbo in 2001 when it opened, bak then havin 30 credz in ur purse was like woah rich, and it STAYED that way till roughly 2005.
Back in 2001/02 you didn't have to worry about people laughing at your offered trade because it's "omg lyke, urs is 0.6 and minez iz 1.2 LAWL". If they wanted what you had for their room, they'd trade, end of.

Now even if you DO want something, if it's not got "prof", then it doesn't matter, it wont be accepted.

I actually agree with that, because I can remember. But if Habbox didn't start the rare values then someone else would have done, but who knows, it probably wouldn't be as much of a big thing if Habbox didn't do it.

Habbox values are only a guide. The do not set the values. The values shown is what people offer on the hotel itself. The values are shown for those that do not trade very often so that they know how much they should offer/expect for their rare avoiding them from getting scammed big time.

Can I remind you that Habbox has been around for a long time, I think the fact people want prof nowadays is nothing to do with Habbox but more to do with the fact that so many rares on the hotel are seen as rubbish since there are so so many of them and/or recolours of them.

Before every rare did something people found helpful to decorate a room. Now you have things like fans that aren't often found in a room in modern days.
