Its a good price if its for a single licence but the fact is he is selling it to various different areas so its not exactly unique. Its like someone selling a super good habbo layout for £15 but selling 10 copies, its not that great because others have it too so its not really gonna attract extra users.

What the hell? We are saying he is overpricing it and you say all WE care about is money???

Dude, if it was a single release it would cost more than £700.

I'm selling 10 copies. Which means it's not overpriced.

Basicly think of it like this, howmuch do you think habbo could sell the habbo homes for, 1000's ?

But no they dont because they make 1000's off it every day... Well this is the same sort of thing thats jsut as good and could be incorprated into a money maker also for all the people saying there more than one..

So do u go into a shop and say i would buy the tv but theres more than one of them so ill pay £10 instead of £1000?

    Exactly.

You don't have to run this as a Habbo site, you can just re-skin it to be for a social network site and it could potentially go far

You have to bear in mind that its limited.

    Bugatti for example

OK bad example because they cost more to make then selling. But you get the idea. If there is only going to be 10 in the world then its going to be more expensive for 1. If he was selling 1000 then it would be much cheaper.

EDIT: YOU ARENT EVEN GOING TO BE ABLE TO BUY IT SO STOP SAYING ITS OVERPRICED!

No its not like that atall because TVs arent like the habbo homes script, its more like art, if theres one of it its worth alot but if theres more alot its not exclusive to the gallery so it doesnt really add anything to it.

I'm planning to offer this script to popular sites.

People like the above may not understand how much this should cost and he may not be able to afford it.

Sites like ClubHabbo, HFFM, etc probably can afford it.

Hahaha... this is absolutely hilarious! Simon I don't even see why you put up with this at all...

If Apple makes an iPhone and sells it for $600 even though it only costs them $200 to make I don't hear anyone complaining! So why should you people get to judge what Simon has made and what it should cost before you've even seen it? If you knew the amount of time and effort that goes into these kinds of projects then you would totally rethink this and accept the fact that he's right! And think of it this way - would you rather spend 10 hours learning to code, and then atleast an additional 10-50hrs to actually create the system or just pay Simon who's done that for you?

If he wants to sell it for £1000 then thats his right. He made it, he owns it - he can charge whatever he wants for it. So, stop being big babies and suck it up and just deal with the fact that if you can't make it then someone else has to do it for you.

Heres a great blog post explaining what I'm talking about:
    http://www.mukustudios.com/blog/?p=3

    And so ends my mini-rant.

P.S. You'd be surprised what people will pay for despite them having free hosting. Just because they're too cheap to spend like $5/month on hosting (or more) doesn't mean they won't spend £50 to attract more visitors and run their site off of! Money just seems to appear when you want something bad enough.
