Post counts from "forum games" section

Well i posted an idea a while back that the forum games section should be like the debates section where you cannot make a game yourself and have to "suggest" one in a stickied thread. A game can then be made if the suggestion is thought to be a suitable "non-spam" game.

Well you do that anyway and your completely annoying, people gave you time but now they've given up with you, grow up for once and get of the computer you've been here for the last 4 nights in a row without a break just sleeping, seriously you need to get out more. And tbh your doing it now, spamming this thread with useless comments to boost your post count, go wash your hair or something, do something social.

It does matter to me because i post there very often not to raise post counts, and i said nothing about spam forums not counting i just mentioned that you have to start this stupid petition. So you wouldnt be complaining if it had nothing to do with post counts so if you really look into it you are just mad because people are getting more posts than you, so you are really taking this like a competition. If posts didnt count there i doubt many people will still post there and this forum would be good as dead. As said before there arent bery many new posts so while im looking for new posts i see the forum games and i just post there because its the most interesting thing to post in at the time. Drop it.

I'm not complaining because I want more posts than other people - I know plenty of people have many thousands more posts than me - it's because complete unknowns can do it and become someone who thinks they're important (such as eatcheese/downfall). If people stopped posting there simply because posts didn't count then that would prove the fact that it's all the area's used for, and thus further validates my point, whereas if posting continued as it is now, then I'd accept your point about it being someone "for fun" but it still wouldn't matter. Either way I'm right and it's a bad idea to have posts counting there.

Also if you post there "not to raise post count" as you say, then why are you bothering with this? I'm not saying to close down that area, I'm just saying that posting there shouldn't increase your post count.

were not mad, Its just posts in that section are now becoming to much people are pointlessly posting to raise post count which is breaking the forum rules.

Im not saying that you're mad im saying that very few people post there to get thier post count up unlike me i post there because i want to/nothing else to post in So i think its dumthat pot counts shouildnt count just because a few people post there to raise post counts. So with like noone posting in the forum games i doubt there would be any new posts and this forum would sink into the ground, im not saying thats going to happen but its a possibility.

I do like this idea but the problem with it is people would just focus their spam on those threads, so it just won't be as spread out. Most Forum games, even if they are considered non-spam, hardly contribute to the Forum and are on the whole just pointless fun. That's why I think it would be better to just open a new Forum where post count doesn't rise and just Moderate that so the games are still slightly sensible but you don't have to worry too much about people spamming just to get a higher post count.

The spam forum and the VIP subforums don't increase post count, and they're still very popular. Spam is absolutely massive, and the Kl Krew Kamp thread in VIP is also pretty big/active, so I don't think this would be a problem. As I said before, if people stop posting in forum games simply because they don't get post count up, they're obviously sad people who we can do without anyway.
