your mum isnt doing anything wrong. OBVIOUSLY she wants the house presentable, and you cant even tidy it?

o wow, must be really hard doing what she asked you to do >.<
I agree. She provides all these things for you, the least you could do is tidy the house. & of course if someone is coming over, she's gonna clean the house. I know I wouldn't want to go over to someone's house or have someone come over to my house & it's an absolute mess.

I know. I break things, it's an accident, my mom gets mad, that's fine, I broke something. She should be mad.

EXACTLY! There's a difference between tidying & just fixing things. You can move stuff & call it tidying, but it's only fixing. There's a difference. Maybe she wasn't impressed with what you did & felt you could've done better.

Still, she has to go back out & spend it when she could use that on something else. Even IF it's not that much money.

    Ano.

First disagreement in this conversation. Even if his brother is going to learn it someday, at 7 years old isn't the right time. I wouldn't want my 7 year old son going around swearing.

Shes only tidying up because her friend from Poole is coming down
If you hit her your laptop would be taken off you? Jesus, is that seriously what this world is coming to. What would make you want to hit your own mum - You are obviously the ungrateful one, your mum has brought you up and you should be bloody helping round the house you ungrateful git.

If you hit her, I hope she gets the police on you. Hypocrit.

:eusa_clap That explains most of my thoughts about it.

My sister when she was 14 used to beat my mum for no reason. We think she has something wrong with her but my mum just can't take her to the doctors about it or mention it to anyone. 2 years later she still strikes out at my mum and sometimes hits her.

If my mate said that he just hit his mum I'd have a go at him most probably.

Kill her and dispose of the evidence. Its a win-win. You get to hit her, and keep your laptop
    1. Jeremy 1129 up, 295 downA named based on the biblical name Jeremiah. Used as a name for children who are blessed with a large brain and/or penis. Also used as a replacement for "perfect".
We had a child and it had a very large penis so we named it Jeremy.

Dam dude, she puts a roof over your head and you can't be bothered to tidy up the flipping house so that it does look tidy? Then you want to hit your mum because she said it wasn't tidy enough? I wonder what kind of person you are then... :eusa_whis

If shes so ungrateful, i say don't do anything for her.

Let her do it, then she can appreciate what you do.

LOL and I remember when my mum could take stuff off me, they don't stand a chance now

parents are just people, and ALL people have good and bad sides.. your still a kid so itll take you a while to get used to people whinging in your ear and being able to do nothing about it...

as for swearing, swearing is just words, words that portray anger...

bottling anger up is much worse than learning swear words.

Try and be more helpful, put dish in sink, then wash it, then go on laptop, 2 extra minutes of your time might get rid of ten minutes of a parent ranting at you and 3 hours of being angry about it.

Dont shout back, ignore people who shout, they are boring, just say 'i understand your point of view, now please try to understand mine while i go... walk the dog / pick my nose / whatever action you want'

Some parents are never happy, and it really wears their children down and makes them depressed and angry all the time. The only thing you can do to avoid this is avoid them as much as possible, and try to avoid situations that would make them angry...

    Lol, you guys are "hilarious"
Someone comes asking for advice and you just give them more troubles.
if you actually bothered to read his post instead of just looking at other comments and jumping down his throat, you would have seen what his main probably was,
    his mum is UNGRATEFUL.
    ok?
Sam, i don't know really, maybe next time your mums out, tidy up the place a bit so she can see you can do things without her asking you to do them, it'd be a nice suprise. xx
