Yeah, If theyre a serial killer or w.e, most people just go out there and kill again. They can put people in jail for life, which is good for the really bad people, and the death penalty should be ok for really bad crimes such as intensional murder.

The death penalty should go to mass murders, peadofiles (sp) and rapists.

Two wrongs do make a right, if your child was murdered you would want the person who killed them to be killed aswell. If you execute the scum that means we would have more prison space and wouldn't have to pay absurd amounts of money to keep these scum alive.

You don't suffer in Jail though? You get three nice, reasonable meals a day, visits regularly, you don't have to do anything much like go to work, you actually get paid and you get to watch things like Sky Sports? I honestly do begin to think it would be a break from the real world sometimes. It's certainly not that bad at all.

I agree with that point, Jail is nice after all and it costs the government a lot of money and it would free up the much needed prison places.

Edit: Sorry I don't mean the government, I mean the tax payer! *Tuts*

I think the death penality should be used on people who commit murder more than once 1 in more than 1 instance, well, generally any crime constantly.

Paedophiles - If they rape/have sex with a child more than once then they deserve it (if they do it after release).

Murderers - If they murder after being released.

And for people who continually bash random people for no reason, deserve to be tortured.

Afterall, they may not have committed the crime and prison MAY have taught them a lesson, granted prisons aren't exactly bad places

Unless prisons become a hell hole for prisoners, then the death sentence maybe the only deterant OR a hefty fine which won't work anyway.

Jail is nice yes, and people can disagree however they want but Jail is a holiday camp nowadays.

Agreed. Dont really belive in Capital Punishment due to the fact innocent people could be wrongly killed. I do belive in Corporal Punishment though.
