I personally agree with undertaker on this. I hate the way the media shove it down our throats and how schools even take it as part of the curriculum. its a theory and if its going to be shown in media and taught in schools it should be taught like its a THEORY!

I laugh how my school teachers us about Global Warming in Science and Geography, however my School doesn't even recycle paper. It's clearly enforced by the government, however the government don't force school's to set an example or even do it, just force them to say the propaganda for them.

Anyone ever seen the picture of the Polar Bears on the Melting Ice Burg?, Greenpeace and others have used to it try and convince the ones who still have common sence left in them. I recently found out the picture was taken in SUMMER and that's what Ice Burgs always do in the summer

Of course some of the ice melts every summer. The problem is, a larger percentage of the ice sheets are dissapearing every summer, and due to the rise in the sea's surface temperature, a larger percentage isn't reforming.
The kind of people who oppose the fact that Global Warming even exists are the kind of people who don't know much about it. It is happening, and it is neccessary for the Government and other organisations to keep the public aware of what is going on.
If they do nothing, we'll do nothing, and it's our attitudes which need to be changed to sort out the problem.

Even though there is nothing we can do, there's no way you can stop global warming and slowing it down is, well, pointless and a waste of money....

We cant make it colder* but we can keep it roughly where it is. At current the effects are quite minimal, but as more ice melts the sea levels rises and more importantly many undersea currents will change there paths, considering they are the primary factor controlling the entire planets weather systems, even minor changes will have dramatic impacts.

*Technically there are theoretical technology's already in existence (cloud making) which can reverse the effects of global warming, though not enough testing / research has yet been done to determine the effectiveness over a notable period of time.

You have ignored everything I and others have said, the Ice Age hasn't eneded so it's clear that the Ice will melt back to what it was before the Ice Age. I do know a lot about it as I have done a lot of reading on the subject.

Thus the "pointless and a waste of money...." I don't see why people are worrying about global warming, we won't be alive when it will 'get worse' and really, it's only humans who care, the planet itself is just evolving again.
