If it was found out that a moderator was giving out information like this, they would be removed from the team without question. Having situations like this come up isn't what the moderator team are here for.

Dispite some comments above, every PM sent to me/J1MI about a moderator, their edits or their actions is checked, and the appropriate action taken. It's easy to forget to reply to the person who sent the PM if you've just spent a good 15-20 minutes dealing with the situation.

You shouldn't be made to feel like this, and I'd urge you to continue reporting posts. If you find that the person you've reported has because aware, simply send me and J1MI and PM, and we'll try to track down the moderator whos doing it.

I think the only thing considered that is out of Habbox is when staff give out infomation to other people?
The other day I was in a toilet.
A voice came from the cubicle next to me: "Hello mate, how are you doing?"
I didn't want to be rude, so I said, "Not too bad, thanks."
I heard the voice again. "So, what are you up to?"
Again I answered, "Just having a quick ****... How about yourself?"
Then I heard him say "Sorry, mate, I'll have to call you back. I've got some **** in the cubicle next to me answering everything I say."

You know I can see what you are saying but if staff use their position on Habbox to bully or abuse people it really doesn't matter where it is as long as there is some notice taken of it. Staff are hardly likely to bully/abuse by pm because they can be caught so MSN or Habbo are the other places. To say its their personal life seems a bit simplistic because how many forums operate on a daily basis without MSN? When this rule was put in place I am sure hardly anybody used it so it was much less complicated. As it stands its virtually a charter for somebody who behaves impeccably on the forum to let loose on MSN or Habbo although I am sure this is a tiny minority. I believe every complaint should be taken notice of and judged individually. It would soon become obvious if there is a problem because it generally wont just be one person suffering.

We're not here to tell people what they can and/or can't do outside of Habbox. When you've got the position of Moderator, it's expected that on the forum you act like part of the forum staff, and avoid giving out personal details, such as reported posts.

If it was found out people were using the forum to try and do things which we found inappropriate/againest the law, they'd be banned from the forum, obviously.

They have no reason to as it's not HabboxForums problem what staff do outside of the forums.
