£40 a year is cheap, I see no reason why they would reduce it or make it free to be honest.

I will happily pay as some of the money would go towards updates which would improve the experience.

Hopefully they will use the money to sort out the servers. :rolleyes:

Precisely. Its more than worth it. Think how long a game like Halo would entertain you without, compared to with LIVE.
