and crashing cars into things such as lamp posts would dent them or knock them down, then in a few days they would be put under repair or something.

Yeahh , doubt it will happen though!![]()
yeah, dont think it would be quite that detailed. Be odd thought if you smashed everything and nothing was fixed at all, that wouldnt make it realistic.
Maybe other things such as shop windows being smashed and then they would be boarded up for a while.
That'd be annoying as hell though. Like if you cratered a road and then kept crashing into it.
More likely, although generally the map is such a size you shouldn't be passing the same area in such detail constantly.
Na, it wont be like that, I think it'll just leave marks or something, stuff like that uses to much data up and causes data overload so the game wont run properly, Conflict solved the issues with that but GTA4 being open world it'll be alot harder to have damage like that to stay in the game
However it could utilise the hard drive. Mercenraries 2 uses the hdd and it has destructable environments, same with the enw console version of battlefield coming out later this year.Na, it wont be like that, I think it'll just leave marks or something, stuff like that uses to much data up and causes data overload so the game wont run properly, Conflict solved the issues with that but GTA4 being open world it'll be alot harder to have damage like that to stay in the game
It'll probably eat up the disk space though
Conductor of the Runaway Train of Militant Homosexuality
Hopefully if it does you can toggle it on/off.
Don't want my hardrive filling with dents on the roads and whatnot.
