If it was suggesting insults between two users against REDNECK, then he hasn't got full power. Staff members are nothing special, but besides that - if the thread actually said something and not just 'pm me for a surprise' then i'd agree with you. You might 'know' that the surprise has something that is directed at you but theres no proof in the actual thread.

So I'm supposed to allow people to PM him and him to tell them loads of lies about people am I? Accusing someone of being a scammer is also a rule on the forum, I was preventing that from happening too.

But again, there was no solid evidence saying that he was going to say that. If someone would have PM'd him and proven that he was calling you a scammer, then okay.

Agreed but a mod has to be tougher than that if it is about him otherwise he will get continually targetted and quite honestly you get used to being insulted so waiting for sombody else to close it isn't the end of the world and shows you can deal with users in an impartial fashion. It doesn't seem it was insults anyway just provocation. Jamie just seems to bite on every occasion so is an ideal target in that respect.
