they cut into the side of your mouth like hell when u first get them

and i couldnt chew anything for 1 week
and my mouth was so sore it felt like someone was pulling all my teeth out and i couldnt sleep

my teeth were pretty much straight anyway, except my 2 front teeth over lapped, and he told me i had an overbite; so i had to get 2 teeth out ;\

they're fine now though, getting them out in 5months
apparently im getting elastic bands to pull my teeth back as i have an overbite

i just had mine taken out

they ache for like first 2-3 days and whenever they tighten them, but just make sure you brush your teeth teally well twice a day - you cn get a brush with smallbristles designed to get under your braces to get the food that gets stuck in them out, my teeth are very straight now

^^ Same, all I did was run my tounge over my teeth for ages, really unusual.

I've got a wire running along the inside of my bottom teeth which is suppose to be permanant..

My brother says they hurt him for a day when they tightened it.

    I have a retainer, so i wouldn't really know.
    But goodluck nevertheless.
