    To show the difference here's a picture of my work space before converting to my Macs. 3 monitors, two cpus, chunky wireless keyboard, chunky wireless mouse, web cam, speaker. The fact that the iMac has a massive screen means I no longer need 3 monitors to give me the same amount of vision. Also even thought the mouse and keyboard were wireless I still needed a charger for the mouse and the sensor for the keyboard was a USB wired which sat on the desk. Then the webcam had to sit on my desk however on the iMac it's built in. Then the two speakers (originally a surround sound system) have to sit on the desk, however with iMac also built in. I no longer have to have my PS3 sat on my desk either, as I had to use my middle monitor as my TV. Now it's been moved onto my chest of drawers so the PS3 can too. So as you can imagine the amount of cabling I had before was massive, however now all I have is;

    Power Cable for iMac, usb for mouse, usb for keyboard, power and usb for external hard drive and my clock...

    After looking at this picture for a while, I have no idea how I coped with all the crap :S

    Hi there,

    You can get equally well designed PCs, by the way. You could, therefore, have bought one of those and your desk would have been just as clean. It's not a fair comparison when your old computer was, well, ugly.

    But please don't rant at me or flame me with your fanboy flame thrower, I do use a Mac.

    What three box things...?

    Also I needed 3 screens so I could organize my work space. Now I just use Mac's Spaces which is built into Leopard.

    Even though I'm a mac user, just don't start having debates over PC vs MAC, its just stupid both have advantages and disadvantages. I only switched to mac and linux because i have no need for windows anymore. The no-wires thing, i seen some messy mac setups before, so just take that OTT saying it beats PC and all that crap.

    Looks nice and tidy, but it's a huge generalisation saying only Macs have little cables. The only extra cable I know of that changes that makes a PC have extra cables is one for a monitor. 3 if you want decent speakers and besideles remain hidden behind a desk, so it's not really an issue :S

    That said, it looks neat and tidy, and is definetly what you need so no comment really
