hmm i dont see how it was a bad performance

we were beaten by a penalty

we were playing away from home

    france hardly created any chances

we just lacked in the final 3rd

    good performance imo

You are talking alot of sense tonight. My opinions entirely. To hold the World Cup runner ups to 1-0 is impressive. And like you said, they never even scored from open play, they scored from a penalty. We came out second half much stronger and made some better penetration.

YES. Always look on the bright side yeah? THANK YOU JAMES. THANK YOU BROWN. Those two have just made Richards and Harts places permed. James, tut tut, what were you thinking? Deary me, maybe you could er... watch how a pro does it when Hart is in net next? Oh and Brown... nice kick of the air yeah? It was certainly a... 'LOOKZ @ MEH! I CAN KIKZ DA AIRZ!!!111! -KAPOWWW-' moment, shame that was your last England cap unless Micah gets injured though eh?

I don't think Joe Hart will get a call-up ahead of players like Carson, Robinson, Green, Kirkland and Foster. James isn't a bad player, he was just a bit slow in that tackle.

Didn't see the second half, the first was enough to stop me watching.
Rooney can't do by himself at the front, he's a forward, not an out & out striker.

    England have no other strikers.

I would be playing Darren Bent or Jermaine Defoe.

Defoe, 6 goals in 6 starts, better record that any English striker in the premiership at the moment.
Bent is just good but doesn't get a chance in the spurs squad.
