    Yes northern ireland uses it, and the republic used to use the Irish pound which was around 70 irish pence to a british pound.

    If there new now, we won't get them in our hands til about 2010 probably. I mean who actually gets a 2008 coin in there hands at the moment?

    Remember they recently released those new £20 notes, well within 2 weeks all the £20 notes in the house were the new ones and they were all in shops
