Personally i love sony erricson walkman phones. Everyone i know which one loves theirs. Im not sure what the newest one out is but id go for that if i was you!

Get the N95
The K850i is not in parts production anymore due to all the problems they had with their touchscreen buttons and cameras breaking

its not actually touchscreen. because you dont touch the actual screen to operate the buttons. they work off those tiny white sensor things that are very close to the screen

Nokia N95 8GB - Nice Slider, 5mp Camera, Wifi (i think)
Nokia N82 - Similar features to N95, but with Xenon flash + candybar form.
SE K850i - Similar features to above, but not smartphone.

Edit: N96 is now out.

In order of my preference: N96, N82, then a draw between K850i & N95 (8GB)

Why won't people listen? the N96 is WORSE in most cases, the N82 has fewer features than the N95, and SE phones are crappy in general compared to any Nokia LOL

this is my 3rd SE phone, never had a problem with them, ive still got one of them lying around at home and still works after like 4 years.

My current phone is the sony ericson w900i and I haven't upgraded it for ages even though it's been due. It's still perfect and does everything I want it to. Nothing is broken apart from the tiny 3G camera on the front, which is only used for 3G calls which I've never done and it still works but it's a bit damaged.

I'm either going to get the N95 or the k850i... I'll see what the people in the store say.

had a n95 for a year on contract, then 'upgraded' to a viewty and finding it alot better. Yes n95 is nice with all the features.. but after a week you will never use them again

Sony Ericsson k850i

I have this phone, and I'd just like to say it's the worse phone I've ever owned. It freezes, it's slow, it loses pictures for no reason, camera quality is poor for a 5 megapixel lens. You can't put a lock on the keypad, (where it asks for a pw when you unlock the keypad) which might not matter to you, but to me it's a flaw of security. You can't change the time the snooze lasts on the alarms. The last couple of things I've said were picky, but there's loads of little things like that which are annoying. The camera is slow to load also and movie quality is terrible.

EDIT: I've just read your post above, claiming you are going to get the N95 or K850i, do not get the K850i. The Samsung G600 is quite good! My friend has it, it's fast and picture quality is awesome for 5 megapixels.
