    So you all know, traffic management official hours are 4-9pm so your net will go slower then. However if you go over a virgin-set limit outside those times (e.g downloading) you will be traffic shaped again for 5hrs.

    i cant get cable cuz im not in the area and the max i can get is 2mb :@

    I can't get cable.. not in our area apparently.

    Apparently I'm on 2MB with Sky but then when I test with speedtest I get speeds between 4-12MB (on a good day). I'm not complaining though

    Lolol, we have 2 phonelines and the optical cable runnign into the house.

    We running VM and AOL side by side LOL, it was easier than having our internet cut off and having to wait a week.

    We're trying to get out of our BT contract to move to Be* broadband... 24mb 8)

    I get 7MB on our 8MB BT line so I reckon we should come close to 24mb

    Be* is owned by O2 now. It depends. Your line may not be able to handle more than 10mbps so there would be no point. If you want speeds that are reliable choose cable, the speeds barely go down as much at peak times.
