I have the game and it's really good. I'll never get bored of it. Online is just amazing and fun, you fight round the whole city and you can get any cars and everything, even police can be turnt on. It's got 10/10 too so.. Yeah..

It's like COD4. There wasn't this much hype about that, there wasn't hardly any, but in my opinion, COD4 is probably one of the best console games to date.
It seems that most games that cause loads of controversy soon become lame.

I'm not saying that it's probably not a good game, I'm just getting annoyed by all the threads and kids crying over it.
But one is entitled to one's opinion, yes?
It probably is a good game if you're into the whole, steal a car, kill people, get chased by the cops, do side-missions etc, but to me it can get a bit repetitive. It's not going to stop me from buying the game though (it's always fun to shoot down some civilians to get the frustration and rage out).

It's not an Anti-GTA IV thread. It's just that there's too much hype over this game, and the fact that there will be flaws to the game as it is more than likely to have aspects to the previous grand theft auto games, and after a while people will get bored of it, guaranteed.
Too many underage kids crying about not getting it ONE day before actual release.

Have you played the game? No..You don't know what flaws it may have, when you play the game then you can say what flaws you think it has but until then you can't just assume it's gonna die down just because of hype, the hype is so big because everything about the game is amazing, and it IS amazing, if IGN gave it 10/10 then it's definitly something big.

Ok ive never played for more than like 10 mins and the storyline didnt really change gameplay from basically:

-Run
-Nick a car
-Run people over
-Get these people's guns
-Shoot people
-Run from police
-Get busted by police or wasted in process of finding a way to escape

And that seemed to be what happened every time I came back to life (not sure how death means nothing?)

The story is alot more in depth, you have a much more realistic environment, you can build friendships/relationships with the characters, if you actually play the game more then you'll actually see this, it doesn't just appear :rolleyes:

1. I dont own this game. Playing it at a friends for a short amount of time was all I could stand.
2. Nothing I said called for an insult.
3. IGN also gave Halo 3 a 9.5..... ratings from one source mean next to nothing

Im disagreeing with the view that GTA is an amazing series. Im not insulting you personally, so do the same for me.

And with how gaming is now, it should be amazing.

Actually this game is a lot better than previous GTA's. If I drove my car into the wall my car would have realistic dents etc, the wall would crack or whatever. The police don't just go after me, they don't actually arrest you for crashing into other cars on this one. If I flew out of my windscreen and went into another car the car would have my blood on it. If I had blood on my shirt and went next to the police they'd go after me.

And driving is like Forza, it's so good just like online.

CoD4's just the same as all the other shooting games. You just try and kill them before they kill you.

I've already stated that I haven't played the game, but there ARE bound to be flaws, just like every game.
It cannot be 100% perfect.
You lot just don't get what I'm trying to get at.
But why would I even care from a bunch of people that get so hyped up over a game?

I'm not gonna back down because I really couldn't give a **** what you think about me, so this thread can stay open for all I care.
