If you are after a part time job then CV's are no help whatsoever, well not for me anyway. I got 0 replies for them.

Your best bet would be to check shop windows and ask inside for vacancies, go down to your local connexions and ask for job vacancies, or print applications forms from the internet and hand them in. Supermarkets usually have vacancies.

I recommend that. If you ask around places, get application forms then hand them in. You stand a better chance doing that then handing in a CV.
