Aren't poems from another culture on Language paper?
For literature, it's Duffy/Armitage/Pre-1914 and 'Of Mice and Men'![]()
i was on aqa last year for my lit / lang
got A in language, and A* in literature
for exam i did 12 poems from anthology, and on catcher in rye - do you like it chaingang? i think it's really good for writing about teenagers - just learnt my notes and theres tonnes of symbollism in therethats all i wrote about in exam

Yeh it's not bad, but... it isn't good to read for fun, but it is good to analyise if you know what I mean.
Still not looking forward to this, I'm just hoping for a parent/child relationship question.
Im on Welsh Board, doing Of mice and men. And a View from the bridge.
For my English GCSE we did Lord Of The Flies and Heaney/Clarke poems.
