If you thought Chelsea would beat Arsenal but I felt the other way we could make a bet on it, the script sends the amount of the betted money to the winner. I guess..

Both top league teams, popular world wide.

And it was just a brief explanation, I don't need to go into details.

Canada and America aren't into Football though, they're more about American Football and Baseball.

@Invent - BetFair.com lets you bet against your friends.

I don't see this idea working, the betting/online gambling market is highly competitive and the companies who dominate the market spend millions promoting their sites. Nearly all, if not all betting sites give a deposit bonus as well.

Also, if the site is purely betting against friends, where do you make your money? If your thinking of taking a cut of the bet, the friends might as well just bet with each other properly.

Finally, the design isn't too my taste but I suppose it's not bad compared to the stuff I have seen on this forum. Even if you did go ahead with the idea, the design doesn't compare to sites like www.betfair.com, www.ladbrokes.com, www.williamhill.co.uk and lots of other gambling sites.

PS: Not being horrible or bigheaded or anything - I just can't see the idea working out.

I can't really explain things that are in my head very well in a short amount of time what I am thinking of will work but I just cant think of the right way to put it. The idea to make money is that we would take a. % of the bet but I dont think that it will defer people. You can't know that the person is going to pay and you cannot bet random people over the Internet easily. When I'm on my computer I'll explain it better but I plan to contact a few betting sites tonight.

Ah, that was it, thanks Ryan.

Open-market betting company that allows customers to make their own odds in order to transact with each other at mutually beneficial levels.
That sounds exactly like your idea.

Just a thought... You need a gamlbers license, and you must ensure it is soley for over 18s only and all that cant be bothered to go into all the details but you MUST obtain a gambling license and I know the penalty for anyone underage gambling is a few thousand to the company...

Hope that made sense but yeh a good idea kind of like betfair
