yeah thats what I thought it did, thing hes got the ZiPhone thing too. It had something on there like change authentication key, then you had to de-activeate it and then re-active it for it to work.
Once the IMEI is changed and is used on a different network Apple can't trace you due to them not signing a deal with other network companies, so yes it is more morally wrong but still.... as if you watch WWDC Steve Jobs knows all about the jailbreaking etc and he was laughing about it, the fact of that matter is I can't see apple/o2 tracing down one phone, however I could be wrong, but still I would return it as that is morally wrong if I had a spare iPhone i would probably mess around with it by changing the IMEI etc.
I'm an alcoholic student, I troll naked with a parrot on my shoulder call Jeff.
In other words your cousin stole it from someone and is now wondering why it won't work!?
You won't be able to unblacklist a stolen handset!
No, my cousin got it from his uncle, he did not steal it he had it given to him. Hi uncle must have stole it or whoever gave it to him.
If the IMEI number can be changed then it will no longer be blacklisted.
You wait one day mate... some one will steel something from you that costs alot, then you will know what it feels like..
Take it police corrent me if im wrong can you not get it back after x amout of days of no one comes for it?
