Oh well, as long as we beat the English. So far we have Tennis and Football under our belts. England you need to start getting better players and teams - seems you're beginning to fall behind us when we have less people than London.

Instead of trying to use our players as "British" get your own. Whenever an English person wins a medal at the Olympics or whatever it's for "England". However if it's a Scottish person (most of the time it is) it's then for "Britian". Basically without the Scottish population you'd never hear about Britian in the sports news at all

why do you say english always say that? i wanted murray to win because in TENNIS HE WAS REPRESTENTING BRITAN, WHERE AS SAY IN FOOTBALL, THE COUNTRY IS REPRESENSTED so i would not want scotland to win at football BECAUSE ITS FOR COUNTRY, WHERE AS TENNIS IS FOR BRITAIN, so i would want murray to win for that reason, not to take 'fame' away from scots

not one to be picky but lets just say

england are ranked higher than scotland and therefore DEEMED BETTER, using OFFICIAL RANKINGS at:

    Football (were 15th, your 16th)
    Cricket.
Golf (using points on tour, and ryder cup points to name a few english players - ross fisher, justin rose, westwood, casey, you'll be lucky to get one scottish person in ryder cup team - montgomerie whose 45.) - but yes, with ryder cup it is Europe V USA, so i will be supporting scotltish players as well.

and on topic, murray was hammered by the better player

Then, why are the English medal winners for Team GREAT BRITAIN classed as English and the Welsh/Scottish medal winners for Team GREAT BRITAIN classed as British?

Because most of the players in "GREA BRITAIN" are English, because you Scottish and Welsh are crap at many other sports, which is why we represent you as GREAT BRITAIN, in the olympics, etc. Under Tennis, playes are represented as GBR, even Tim Henman was, so get over it.. If he had go to the final it would've been good for BRITAIN as well as SCOTLAND.

England have been a consistently better football team than Scotland. It's just recently that Scotland have snuck up on England.
