Ps3 buying advice

People who say get 360, that is just your biased oppinion probly because you only have the one console. I have both consoles and the ps3 edges the xbox. There is much more to do on ps3 although the online on xbox is better

The 360 is a better purchase in just about every aspect at this point in time, you have way, way more exclusives on a 360, the games are generally cheaper, you do have to pay for xbox live but it's worth the money, you can do exactly the same with a PS3 as you can the 360 at the moment, unless you want to go into the useless extras - Blu-ray, web browser and Folding@home but those aren't important if you're buying it for games, people who say 360 is better aren't biased it's just the truth
If you want games NOW - get a 360
If you're fine with waiting until next year for decent games then go for a PS3

At the moment the only decent exclusives on PS3 are Motorstorm, GT5 Prologe, Resistance and MGS, those are not the only exclusives obviously just the only ones that seem even remotely worth the money you have to pay for them

ooommgg the first reply is 'get a 360'. Its called the SONY forum so whats the point if your not going to give advice to the actual topic. The fact of the matter is that the playstation is a lot more things rolled into one with free internet gaming whereas the 360 is for people who dont mind paying £40 for something that will just improve the gameplay online. I havent been on a 360 online but when i have played on the ps3 on mgs4 its been fine most of the time. Plus, it also depends on your internet and not just the network. Exclusives dont really bother me either because well, im sure that sooner or later all/most game makers (except for sony and microsoft) will, in a few years, make every game for all consoles

If hes decided to get a ps3 then please just leave it alone and give him advice. I heard their was a good deal at game for £300 but i couldnt find it unfortunately.

To be honest if you're looking for a decent console I'd go for Xbox 360, I own both so I'm not biased or a fan boy, but basically PS3 you pay £500 quid, you don't get what you pay for but every last bit of the Xbox 360 is worth it. Dashboard and everything is easy to navigate and it's just amazing.

Quite seeing as at most it costs £400 and that is with 4 games included but by it self £300 and below and anyway you can always say you pay for what you get with your internet same with hardware seeing as the PS3 is more powerful than the 360 in specs
BTW why hasn't anyone mentioned drakes fortune that was pretty damn good!

i would agree with that because the MGS4 is the best game out so far for the PS3 BTW can not wait for resistance 2 and yeh every should I buy XYZ always turns into a fanboy war sadly

Doesn't that mean on one than more console and as the PS3 is the cheapest way to port (unless you want a total rewrite) meaning wth you talking about get it for the multi platform games
