That isn't a bad combination at all, and it isn't a clash at all. Maybe you're more of a follower of what is in during seasons than disregarding preference for merging to the must wear what's in trend.

The chocolate brown and the blue goes perfectly well with eachother, and lets be honest - who has more knowledge of what colours do and don't go? Famous fashion designers or you, an average Joe?

Designers haha its funny because they make clothes to appeal to consumers. They may think cerulean looks good but face it last time it came into fashion it looked awful hardly anyone wore it and it just pretty much failed. Chocolate brown does go with blue BUT NOT CERULEAN. Fashion isnt a knowledge its an opinion the opinions of designers get forced onto consumers and the ones who reject bad designs instead of excepting them as mainstream make the fashion industry. The fashion industry is about the consumer not the designer.

There wouldn't be anything for the consumers to buy if the fashion designers didn't design the clothes they design so you're wrong. Yes it's about preference but if you're not going to risk mixing colours, you're not one to pass such extreme judgement. If they made clothes just to appeal to consumers, there wouldn't be such flamboyant and over-the-top designs hitting the runway every single year. Some are for show, others are for wearing - it depends on the flare of the design. It does go with Cerulian, I'll argue that until I'm blue (no pun intended) in the face. Fashion is a knowledge, you either are fashionable or you're not.

I wouldn't say it failed either, it's just most "consumers" as you say aren't willing to risk things, they play it safe with default/bland colours. It doesn't look good.

I never said i have never risked mixing colours? ive tried almost lots of colour combinations and Ive worn cerulean myself and i was stating my own personal opinion. I never said that we dont want catwalk designs? I was saying Cerulean is wrong for the everyday consumer. I'm saying I dont want to wear cerulean and that not many average joes as you put it do. Yes its fine on the catwalk. I love models and new trends but im saying we dont need it to be derived into all of our summer collections. We would still have tailors if we didnt have designers. We did have clothes before designers came.

Catwalk-wise cerulean was a massive success because lots of big designers used it. But if you look at actually clothing in stores and what consumers buy it was a huge failure and it hasnt been reused since 2002 until now in the main collections.

I will argue fashion is definately an opinion, Fashion that seems to be knowledge is just the opinion of one person passed down to everyone therefore becoming a knowledge but because there is no one set way of fashion it cant be defined as a knowledge therefore its an opinion.
