Swearing i sagenst the habbo way and habboxforum is a habbo forum therefore we can't use the forum. Surely it isn't the end of the world if you can't swear in every sentance?

I rarely swear, I was just suggesting it as sometimes, like someone said, its difficult to know what people are saying when its all ****'ed out.

If it's against the Habbo way why do they give you the option of turning the filter off?

Loads of people swear, but it's hard to have a conversation with someone who says the F word every other sentence. It's better to have the main swear words filtered and to unfilter some of the lesser "swear" words like the D word for penis and other minor swear words, which are far nicer than ***** (brings up that argument again).

It's not hard to work out what the word is, given the context.

    Like 'For **** sake'.

Theres no need to swear though? It's not hard to string a sentence together without having to add swear words.

@ everyone saying "if you swear you need a better vocabulary" or whatever - just because you swear doesn't mean your dumb. Sometimes a swear word can express how you're feeling better then any other word. Like if I were to say "**** YOU!" someone would know that I'm angry at them but if I were to be like "Excuse, I do not like your attitude and I'm going to have to tell you to have a great day and here, take some sunshine and lollipops" (obviously not like that, but you get the point) then they wouldn't see that I was as angry as I really was.

A swear word is just like any other word in the way that it can express how you feel, properly.

That being said I'm not really for this idea as too many people would over use it and I think it'd just be more anger issues towards moderators who wouldn't be able to decide whether it was used properly or not, resulting in them infracting someone and the infractee getting upset with them.

We have never (and will never) allow swearing on the forum.
