I read the first post and straight away, it sounds like SomethingAwful Forums...

By the way, when you stated your 'Moderators, Marketing Officers, Community Developers and Planning Developers', did you actually put any thought as to how they would actually contribute into a general forum. It sounds stupid to me, oh and can I just point out, there are tons of general forums already.

But IPB Pro Bulliten or Inivsion Power Board is a very good forum.
