Which Debit Card do you use ?

Solo, but my card is changing to a Mastro sometime soon

Solo has been great for me, it's purely a debit card, and is ideal for those with 'so low' amounts of money in their accounts, and in the 5 or 6 years I've never had a problem using it, as most stores accept it. NatWest cash machines are everywhere, another plus factor. You don't get a cheque book, unless it's changed recently, but I never had the need for one. You also can't go overdrawn as you aren't allowed an overdraft

Switch is what I am currently changing to, which has the Maestro and the Cirrus emblem on, courtesy of NatWest again When I start using it I will know more, but it is the step up from Solo.

Lol did you get one of those letters from NatWest telling you you're old enough to change to Maestro (or something like that)? It sounds very familiar

Lol, lots of offers from NatWest, I also wanted the online banking, so I can see at any time of day, how much I don't have in my accounts

Oh I have that You could get it with your solo card, but my card is apparently a "Card Plus" account which might be why I have online banking. This new card I'm getting is a "Current Plus" account which gives me:

A Maestro Card
Online and telephone banking
Cheque Book
Mobile Top-Ups
And the ability to apply for an overdraft

The only new things are the maestro card, cheque book and overdraft, but I won't be using the cheque book or overdraft

Barclays Connect which is a Visa Debit card (Not a crappy electron )

Electron's and Solo's are designed for children and anyone with a bad credit rating meaning they cannot go overdrawn.
