We smashed our own world record in the Men's (Cycling) Team Pursuit today, which means we qualify fastest and will get either a gold or silver medal up against Denmark tomorrow. Looking good

Athletics is going quite well by our standards, with most of our women qualifying for the next round, and Louis Smith, 19, claims bronze for us in gymnastics.

Our golden weekend is pretty much at an end now, with us claiming eighteen medals - eight of them gold - over the last two days.

We should get a gold tomorrow, and Tuesday looks good for a handful of medals. I also reckon we could get two more golds on Thursday.

We lie 3rd out of 204 nations participating in the standings, which is an excellent end to the weekend, with a two gold medal advantange over Germany. Who knows, if we can win a few more golds over the next seven days, we could stay there.
