    Same here, I replace the batteries every 6 months usually, sometimes more. Didn't realise people had such problems. Well that's one good thing I can say about my wireless keyboard and mouse, and that's also it

    Can't wait to move back to wired, the speed and accuracy is just nothing compared to wired in my opinion.

    you don't need software for a mouse, unless it is a really rubbish one it should have it's own drivers. Simply uninstall the software and continue as normally.

    The software adds extra functions that the generic drivers don't do.

    In games like COD4 my mouse is slow and crap if I use the Logitech drivers, with the generic Windows drivers its fine haha

    I installed the drivers for my mouse because I can customize the buttons to do different functions. So not all drivers are useless

    I had a wireless mouse for a while, but I hated it so I got a corded one! Much better imo.
