I believe Mountain Dew didn't sell too well in the UK and was canned. Pun intended. It probably wouldn't be allowed to be sold in the UK with the American recipe anyway, as many US soft drinks contain ingredients prohibited in the UK - Coca-Cola tastes a little different in America through a different syrup, and Dr. Pepper has a completely different taste than over here.

I want some plz. My friend went over to the states about a week or so ago, bought 80 cans of mountain dew... He's a bit nervous on breaking it to his parents, "Mum, dad, I sorta bought 80 cans of mountain dew".
