Why am I admin?

VIP is automatic when purchased via paypal but if via sms or for a freind then you can either add it via subscriptions manager or search their name on the user section and when editing them you can click add a subscription and do it there. It happened because you didnt let the page load, or the page didnt load correctly. So yea, its just a glitch

That has happened to me before, the page didn't load properly and some of the options in the quick link menu appeared on the bar at the top.

but then when I clicked on it, my name was shown red as if I was smod/admin

That's because you clicked "Open Contacts Popup" on the page which didn't load properly (should be in Quick Links menu), and you have added yourself as a contact.

It does the same with mine.

I didn't know this is what you meant e5 I thought you meant your name was Red on the 'Who's Online' list at the bottom

It's not a bug that's what the Popup Contact page is like on every vBulletin forum - online friends show up as Red and bold and offline the normal colour.

Oh well, can't fault me for saying that I thought I was admin/smod when it showed my name and red and then suddenly it didn't on that contacts page thing.

Also i refreshed twice and those 2 links were still there on my bar thing, so twice the page didn't load properly?
